Last Tuesday night, I went to one of the Japanese Restaurant at Pulau Tikus for my birthday celebration dinner. The environment of this restaurant is nice but the food is not delicious at all. That will be my first time and last time going to this restaurant.

I like the environment of this Japanese Restaurant with the simple decoration.

This is the appetizer with some tomatoes, cucumbers

Sushi Zen – I just lost my appetite when this sashimi was served. The salmon, tuna, prawn and unagi looked not fresh.

Bara Chiyashi Don – This was the seafood rice(Tuna, salmon, egg etc) The food was not fresh especially the tuna. Half of the portion of this dish was left untouched which I really unable to finish all although I know that was a waste.

Nikujaga (Beef potatoes) – At the time of ordering, I thought the dish was some kind of mashed potatoes salad with beef. I just can’t imagine the beef potatoes was served like that, I felt very disappointed. In addition, this dish was so expensive (RM16) which was not worth this price at all.

Desert – Vanilla ice cream with red bean. I don’t like the flavor of vanilla so I just only took one small tea spoon of the ice cream.
Conclusion, I tell myself that I will not enter this restaurant again. The food is not as delicious as my expectation. I would say that this is the worst Japanese Restaurant that I have ever been; The food is expensive which cost us RM113 for all the above dishes; The food was not fresh and not delicious.
However, I just noticed from another website: Best Recipes, Foods And Travel which gave a good comment about this Japanese Restaurant including the food and the price. I just wonder how come other people give such a good comment while I complain so much about the food. Maybe I don’t know how to order? I just can’t understand…
